Basic Terms

        Rigidity of Seat: 

Rigid: Stiffer than a factory generally used where more grip is needed.

Standard: Similar to what comes from the factory.     

Soft: A more flexible seat than a factory seat. Used to help loosen kart.

VG: Very flexible and light weight seat.  Example: T11VG-XL weights 1lb 13oz.

          Seat Design:

Standard:  The standard seat is what we like to call the Italian Cut or shallow seat.  Where the rib support side area of the seat is not very deep,   the following seat fall into this design T5VG, T10, T11VG, T12

Deep:   The deep seat offers more rib support for the thicker chest person. The following seat fall into this design.  T7, T8, T9

Short Back (CD):  These seats have a shorter back to help eliminate rubbing under the arms.  All Cadet and X-Small are short back.  Small and Medium Small seat with the CD designation are short back. Example T8-SCD or T8-MS-CD

Angle of Seat Back:

We carry 2 different degrees of angles on the seat back.  We carry seats that have a standard layback or an additional 3 degree more layback of the seat.  The three degree more layback of the seat lowers the drivers center of gravity (frees up the chassis) and reduces wind drag on the taller drivers.

                    Standard Back Seat:              T5VG, T7, T8, T10

Additional 3 Degree Seat:    T9, T11, T12   

The driver position in the chassis is the same as long as you have the same layback of seat.

 T5VG:  Standard Depth And Layback Seat, Very Flexible, Full Cover Black, Hand Laid, Flat bottom (T11&T12style bottom),  Available in Small, Med-Small, Med-Large, Large & X-Large

T7:  Deep Seat, Standard Layback & Flex, Full Pad, Hand Laid, Rounded Bottom (T8 Style Bottom), Black Gel Coat on Back. Wider in hip area than T8, Available in Mini, Cadet, X-Small, Small-CD, Small, Med-Small, Med-Small-CD, Med-Large, Large, X-Large, XX-Large, XXX-Large

T8:  Deep Seat, Standard Layback and Flex, Injection Molded, Rounded Bottom, Clear Back, Available in No Cover, Quarter Cover (Rib Area) and Full Cover in Black.  Sizing Available in Cadet, X-Small, Small, Med-Small, Med-Large, Large& X-Large

T8R:  Deep Seat, Standard Layback and Rigid Flex, Hand Laid, Rounded Bottom, Clear Back, Available in No Cover and Quarter Cover, Sizing Available Med-Small, Med-Large, Large and X-Large

T8 Soft:  Injection Molded Deep Seat, Standard Layback, Soft Flex, Injection Molded Seat, Rounded Bottom, Clear Back, Available in Quarter Cover (Rib Area).  Sizing Available in X-Small, Small, Med-Small, Med-Large, Large& X-Large

T8VG:  Deep Seat, Standard Layback, Very Flexible, Hand Laid, No Pad Seat. Available in Small-CD (short back seat), Small and Med-Small-CD.

T9:  Deep Seat, Additional 3 Degree Layback and Standard Flex, Hand Laid, Rounded Bottom, Clear Back, Available in No Cover and Quarter Cover, Sizing Available Med-Small, Med-Large, Large and X-Large.

T10XXL:  Standard Depth, Flex And Layback Seat, Hand Laid, Available in No Pad and Quarter Pad

T11VG:    Standard Depth, Very Flexible, 3 Degree Layback, Hand Laid, Flat Bottom, Available in Medium Large, Large and X-Large.

T12:  Standard Depth and Flex, 3 Degree Layback, Injection Molded, Flat Bottom, Clear Back, Available in No Cover and Quarter Cover (Rib Area) in Black.  Sizing Available in Small, Med-Small, Med-Large, Large& X-Large.
